Keigo wouldn't blame Touya if he outright lost it from just sitting here. He thinks it's some strange miracle that he hasn't yet. But he's sure it's not far off given how the frantic reactions and the way his voice cracks. Still, he tells himself it's fine. This is fine. Touya can freak out, but he knows how to stay calm and soothe others. He thinks he still knows how to do it for Touya.
Their breathing doesn't match the way he wants it to, and his wings flick sharply at the vibrations that come from the hearing the sound of Touya's breathing. Think, Keigo, think.
It's only a few seconds before he's scoots closer, close enough now that their thighs are pressed together. His hands work themselves free of the other's and he reaches out quickly to wind them around Touya. There's no hesitation in the way he draws him closer, one arm around his back at the other hand reaches to curl into the white hair to gently press his head down and against a covered shoulder. As he does, his wings stretch and move, trap them inside a familiar cage of feathers that blocks out most of the light, help lessen some of the sounds of the machine around them.
"It's okay, Tou. Take your time." Soft words followed by familiar and gentle coos. His fingers comb slowly through the white hair, and Keigo closes his own eyes to let his senses fully focus on the other. "Take as much time as you need. I'm here. I'm always going to be here." Distantly, Keigo wonders if Touya even remembers how close they'd been. If he remembers anything leading up to his coma.
