[touya glances over his shoulder at the cold that could almost be felt radiating through the shared image. so the little puppet was icing himself over. feelings are a bitch, aren't they.

whether it's simply a survival tactic, an outward expression of his feelings, or a veiled threat, touya waives it off. after all, the cold never bothered him.]

[ He grows still. Expression obvious to anyone who knew what to look for. It's in the framing of his eyes, wider than before. The way he pulls back slightly. The intensity of those words far too familiar with the madness he saw in Endeavor's own eyes everytime he spoke of All-Might and his plans for him. His determination too aggressive, outright hostile. It's a sense of madness he's tip-toed his entire life, hating every moment it laid eyes on him, seeing him as nothing but a tool of his ambition. He sees it now in Touya. His words far too reminiscent of Endeavor in his early youth. The certainty behind it. Failure nowhere in the equation. For the first time since his arrival, his stomach twists looking at his brother. ]

[ Maybe he asked too much. Pushed too hard. But this was Touya too. This malice Shouto once knew now purged from his soul while it still lay claim to his brother's. No reply is forthright, his answer leaving him frightened enough to disturb his omen, his feelings becoming hers, and hers his. Golden light showers across the video as Kizu appears, whining at the things she doesn't understand, only knowing she doesn't like it.

Shouto doesn't like it.

And she jumps into his lamp, seeking warmth at the cold words. It's enough to shock him out of his silence. He looks down, knows instinctually what she wants, and holds her to him, finding comfort her in her presence as much as he finds comfort in his. ]

[he's never once pretended to be anything but that. simply kept those things secret and close to his chest unless he felt like telling them to other people. but the goal and ambition remain the same. a drive too intense to let anything stop him. endeavor lit a fire under touya that refused to be put out and it engulfed him so severely, he couldn't escape in time. their father's stubborn pride and insane goals passed on to his children and each of them parse through their cursed blood in their own unique ways. touya's became this. the same madness of an unstoppable wildfire, seeking to consume and destroy until it had nothing left and was finally sated on its gluttonous desire. there is no possibility of failure in his mind. he'll achieve this dream, become the brightest star endeavor had always said he was, and go out like a supernova, dead on arrival to drag his father and his legacy down to hell with him.

wolf remains completely unfazed by its master's words. a part of touya's blackened soul, it's always known his murderous intent and twisted mindset. burned and charred, eternally on fire, his omen is a reflection of himself.

ironically, the one child of endeavor's who managed to escape him and free himself from their father's abusive treatment ended up being the only one to drown so deeply in the abuse that he clings to endeavor as his sole reason for existing.

his next words come with the same solidarity and blase determination. as easy as stating the temperature outside.]

Then I'll kill you too.
