[There's such a thing as taking context clues and the obvious reminders Touya's dropping. He doesn't have to answer every obvious question.

Is there a reason ya don't want our omens there?

[Touya sounds curious, some of that ire pausing for a bit, like a candle flame going still.]

[ There's a pause at that and he takes a moment for himself before looking up at him, face perfectly neutral. ]

[why is he not surprised?]

[ He's sure of it. As for the question - ]

I want our omens there. I want to get to know Wolf better.

[ Silent for a bit, he takes his words in stride and nods once. If you say so. ]

I want to know what we're doing tomorrow.

[he even invited him to go with him.]

[ He nods and Kizu gets up from her spot near Wolf, heading in his direction. ]

Tomorrow.

[ She reaches him soon after and he looks to Touya, nodding at him once before heading out. ]

Don't be late.

[wolf rises as well and walks beside kizu until she's back by shouto, then branches off and returns to touya's side.

touya merely watches his younger brother as he confirms and turns away from him.]

Tomorrow then.

[he's definitely going to be early or late. not on time.]

[ Shouto will be precisely on time. Not one minute too early or one minute too late. Kizu is with him, roaming the beach at her leisure, while her Sleeper catches sight of his brother and hands him a card with all the confidence in the world. ]

[and touya will be late by a few minutes just because he wanted to sleep a little longer. dressed the same as always, breeze pulling his coattails out to the side. wolf walks by his flank and stops when touya does.

he takes the card and eyes it before giving shouto a slight look. really... but pockets it afterwards without saying anything about it.]

Didja eat already?

[swellter]

[ He blinks at the question, not quite the question he was expecting. You... you were supposed to ask for a favor. Why doesn't anyone ever ask for a favor? Looking a little pouty, he nods once, sulking. ]

I had breakfast.

[because he has no favors to ask for right now. and does shouto miss the fact he handed a villain a 10-favor card? dabi has no problem exploiting or manipulating his advantages to his favor.]

Good.

[with that, he heads off down the boardwalk to the black sand beach.]

[swellter]

[ He handed the card to his brother, who he follows after, quiet as usual in his demeanor. He doesn't talk, watching as Kizu runs up ahead. She strays towards the shore, treading through the water, while he gets over the card incident. ]

What are we searching for?

[his brother is also a villain. or does he not recognize dabi from that time he kidnapped his noisy classmate or tried to murder endeavor and hawks on the street? wolf leaves touya's side and follows after kizu, not really to play but simply to be around. guarding sorts...]

Anythin of interest. Sometimes items from other worlds wash up on shore. Sometimes copies of things already here, or modern merchandise.

He's not a villain here.

[ Kizu's matured in the last year and doesn't try to play with him outright, preferring to swish her tail in the water to pester him with water here and there. ]

How often do you come here?

[burnitblack]

[how little he knows... wolf does avoid the water some, considering he's got fire along his back and shoulders. but he'll walk in it, if he can dodge the tail splash.]
