Unfortunately, the numbness is permanent. That's what happens when someone basically immolates himself for several minutes. Even with the surgeries and regenerative tissue grafts, the damage was too severe to heal Touya back to normal. The scars are there to stay, though there's no telling at the moment whether their presence would get worse or remain faded over time. When the bandages come off, it'll probably show the full story of Touya's damages.

Touya lets himself rest again as Keigo runs his fingers through his hair, taking comfort in the gentle gestures. He doesn't feel any regret for what happened, save for not being able to bring this entire place down in the inferno. But at the moment, he's too tired and overwhelmed to dwell on such thoughts. All he wants to do is focus on Keigo's presence. Rest finally seems an attractive option. He can deal with anything else later if Keigo's with him.

"Aa." Yeah. Tomorrow. That sounds good. Touya notes the soft tilt and realizes Keigo's lying them down. He has to let the other man do it for him, limbs too tired to do much on their own after the rush of emotion from the reunion. Lying on his side in the embrace of Keigo's wings is a pleasant experience, reminding him of the times they'd done the same as kids. "All right." Save his strength. Good idea. No reprimand or counseling. Unaware of what Keigo's planning, Touya simply closes his eyes and lets himself relax, quickly finding sleep in his friend's presence.
