'no one is born evil' — was it? he dwells on it as his eyes follow the way dabi attempted to mimic his craft, only to give up way too soon. in that specific scene, reading into the villain's stoic features, he can't see evil right now. all he can see is someone who got hurt, abandoned, mistreated and someone who loved his father so deeply. itadori has an intimate affair with 'evil'. if he puts dabi and sukuna side by side, they don't look alike. the contrast is: dabi can have a change of heart, while sukuna is incapable of it. why? one is human and one is not.
