[that's not something he needs proven to him; dabi doesn't think any of the kids see their father in them. or at the very least, they don't want to. then again, their mother did, as natsuo would know, so maybe that's a genetic trait passed down? touya went insane after all. (and he did steal them. or stole the money to pay for them. sometimes it's fun to walk his villainous ass into a store and throw them for a loop by paying for his shit.)

problem with that caveat is... his "reason" isn't the kind natsuo'd think is either good or sound. looking at him wrong or mocking him is reason enough for dabi to murder someone if he's so inclined. so maybe it's a good idea for natsuo to be around to curb those tendencies? ... until the target mocks natsuo and dabi torches them for taking a piss at his brother.]
Sometimes ya get somethin for beggin or performin, but it ain't reliable.
[and he doesn't often trust handouts in the first place. especially free ones. but he'll trust the ones given by natsuo. even if they're not really "free" in exchange for him running away with him. and behaving himself. that's kind of understood.
but if you buy with dad's credit card, that'll leave a trail for where they're going. at least the bank will catch on pretty quickly and shit'll be after them. that said, if he gets away with that... black, navy, white, and silver are good colors. take him to hot topic forever.
