Dabi moves his fingers a little further in, still keeping care not to dislodge or pluck any. Getting to trace the quill is really interesting, where it connects, and the feathers' plumes along the thinning spine. He's seen birds before, but never touched any, so getting to actually feel feathers is... amazing.
He glances up at the shiver. "Are-?" Oh... no it doesn't seem like he's cold. Still scoots over a little closer just in case, and so Hawks doesn't have to stretch his wing too far. Enough their knees clunk and he pauses, not sure if he should be this close. He has a fire Quirk after all and he runs warmer...
"They're really cool," he murmurs, innocently letting his hand fall on Hawks' side as the red wing draws away from his touch. The blanket drawn over them comforts him as well and he settles in close to the other boy, eyes lidding at the sensation. "Yeah. I never had friends before..." Always kept at the house with his parents. Just his little sister, but she wasn't here.
