though he has no real evidence to this, itadori sounded more naive and inexperienced than stupid. meaning dabi has suspicion that as much as he's looking into the kid and researching him to find out what he's up to and who he is, there's a high chance itadori has done the exact same thing. and considering dabi's tell-all video condemning endeavor and the hero society by exposing several of their lies, abuses, and crimes, is widely available on the net and other media, it's impossible for itadori to miss it if he tries to research it. so he'll know all who dabi is, his real name, his family, some of the reason behind his scars, his goals, his opinions, so much of himself exposed in that video to the world.
should be interesting to see what he thinks out. both about dabi and the hero society. perhaps it'll make the kid look at whatever his own organization or area is and think about things more. any truths he's been blindly accepting, the images of the higher ranks in his world, whether or not he's actually thinking for himself or simply going along with a flow he has no true understanding of. if it strips him of some of that naivety and innocence, all the better.
but can he really still say he wants to be friends with a known mass murderer who has zero intention of stopping his villainy and every intention of murdering his own family members to torture and bring down his father? in that respect, dabi remains even more wary of itadori. after all, the kid said he'd get involved it meant protecting the people he cared for, and "all of society" is likely going to catch at least one of those in the proverbial shotgun blast.
he gets the text message and moves. walking around the rim of the water tower overlooking the park. turquoise eyes scan over the trees, around the perimeter of the abandoned area, searching for cars or bodies or any other potential sign of a trap, ambush, or double cross. seeing none, he retreats.
